RV90 fork oil volume
« le: Mercredi 02/03/2011 13:50:28 »
Greetings from the UK,

Does anyone have information regarding the quantity of oil required in each fork leg of the RV90?

Any information greatly appreciated.

Following on from your response, I have attempted to fill the forks with oil using a large syringe. This is very difficult because the oil keeps backing up and overflowing. Is there a trick? Please note that the oil that I am trying to use is 10-40, so I do realise that it may be too thick to run easily. So far I have only 12cc in each fork leg......  :( Would it help to warm the oil slightly or use thinner oil?

First : 90cm3 = 0.09 liter

Then, I'm not sure about the oil quality... I think I've used some 10/40 too.
The filling was done by the top of the fork, whithout probleme. But I put the fork "out of the bike".
